Drawing from 15 years of teaching and performing in the Bay Area, Sophia holds a Master of Music from San Francisco Conservatory and is adept at teaching vocal styles from classical to contemporary. She has taught internationally touring singers and mini-musical theater stars alike, and has helped students gain acceptance to prestigious vocal programs at USC Thornton School of Music, Berklee College of Music, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Oakland School of the Arts, San Francisco School of the Arts, and more. She is also adept at teaching adult singers returning after any length of vocal hiatus, as well as beginner adults looking to “finally learn to sing”. The voice studio is equipped with a recording booth, performance microphone, sound system, dance mirror, music stand, and upright piano, to support all student singer types.
